GLUTEN FREE GARLIC CHEDDAR DROP BISCUITS

Delicious and easy cheesy gluten free drop biscuits. A perfect companion to any hardy main dish.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1¾ cup Bob's Gluten free 1 to 1 baking flour
  • ½ tsp sea salt (kosher salt)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 6 T. cold butter (smart balance)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded (cabot , naturally lactose free cheddar cheese)
  • 1 cup milk (lactose free/ non dairy)
  • 4 T. butter (smart balance)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, salt, and baking powder.
  3. Cut in butter.
  4. Stir in cheese.
  5. Add milk and stir until it becomes a sticky dough.
  6. Drop by spoonfuls on a baking stone or a sheet pan covered in parchment paper.
  7. Bake at 425 for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Melt 4 T of butter and add garlic. On low heat simmer for a minute to infuse garlic flavor into butter.
  9. Brush garlic butter onto biscuits and serve immediately.

I found this on Pinterest. Several things I do miss about being allergy free. So happy they can be duplicated at home Make sure the minced onions are JUST onions. I personally would use kosher salt. Use raw sugar. Instead of sour cream use 0% greek yogurt. 

Homemade Taco Sauce

This is nice and uncomplicated! You know the only thing I'd change is the salt and make it kosher, other than that this recipe is clean. I haven't made it yet but I will the next time I need taco sauce! Homemade things are better!
