NYE with CWM!

YES! I am 5 days late posting this but it's ok, life happens. Everything turned out great!!! The Lil Chef and I made Bob's Red Mill GF Chocolate Chip Cookies which I'll post the recipe to later, mini corn dog bites and mini corn dogs on a stick (I have a post related to this that I posted a few days ago) and last but not least non beer battered popcorn shrimp that we made over the other day because I rushed on NYE and we got shrimp clusters! lol  (the post with the new shrimp will be up soon)

Thank you so much Zevia and Breyers for creating products that allowed me to have my 1st ice cream float in about 10 years! Root Beer Floats are the best!!!

Right before the ball dropped!

The Lil Chef and I had our sparkling juice in our sweetheart plastic glasses! :-)

My plate of fried yumminess that was on a previous post. Mini Corn Dogs on a stick and "shrimp clusters"

Part of our snack set up for NYE. Reduce, reuse, recycle! Yes, those are Smart Balance containers holding the chips and the Farmers Cheese container for the dip (which consisted of non dairy ranch dressing and 0% greek yogurt, a little garlic pepper salt for taste and voila!) No reason to spend extra money on bowls and containers. (plus it was just me and the little one)

This was our 1st NYE Celebration in the new house! Hoping for all the best with our new beginnings!

Hough Bakery - butter cookies

Hough Bakery By Gail Greenberg&Diane Rolfe Hough Bakery was an integral part of me and my family's lives, (most people in Cleveland for that matter) I was heartbroken when they closed. I have always remembered the cookies and doughnuts from this magical bakery. Their products were like nothing I had ever had before (and it was extra magical because I was so little/young) I have been searching for about 30 years for something similar - no luck... but, thank goodness there are a few recipes floating around the internet! Unfortunately even with Archie's being open, my food afflictions will not allow me to enjoy those old time favorites. Luckily, converting is what I do and that's what this site is about so I will switch some things around and see how it turns out! The recipe below is just ONE of my all time favorites, please enjoy! Memories of a signature blue-and-white, string-tied cake box filled with a streusel coffee cake, hot cross buns, sticky pecan rolls, coconut cho…
